"Transformation" is what Vicky (Coach V) is all about. Vicky herself represents a transformed life and she is an energy & force in this world that is making a big, positive difference in other peoples lives everyday! She gives each and every person her all as a coach & friend. And, no matter the discipline you're training in, you will become better - a better swimmer, a better runner and cyclist, and if you hang around her long enough, probably a better human being too! You will transform yourself. It's impossible not to! It's hard to find people in the world today that care & give as much and as freely as Vicky does. You won't go wrong if you're looking for something special in training here!

A few years ago I went to a Team in Training meeting looking to meet some new people and train with a gr
oup of like minded runners. It was here where I met Vicky who was recruiting for the triathlon team. Her enthusiasm for the sport convinced me to sign up for an Olympic distance race when I knew I was only a runner and had two new sports to learn in less than four months! Of course I could ride a bike and could swim without drowning but in order to complete this race I had a lot to learn. With Vicky's approach to coaching and a detailed training plan, I made progressive steps and was able to work from the most novice of levels to a halfway decent swimmer and cyclist by race day.
Since that day Vicky and I have become good friends and she continues to help my training and has helpful answers to all the questions I come up with through the season. I was fortunate enough to complete my first Ironman in November 2007 and also finished top 5 in my age group for the NCTS finally. I could not have done all of this if it weren't for Coach Vicky!

"Growing up, exercise wa
s an integral part of my life.
About 8 years ago I had my first child and got so busy with life that suddenly I no longer made 'working out' a priority. As the years passed and I got more and more out of shape I knew that I needed to make a change for the good of my long-term health, but never felt that I had the time to fit it in. I met Vicky about 6 months ago and she convinced me to take 45 minutes to get a fitness assessment done. Well, I am so glad that I did the assessment because Vicky was able to show me exactly the areas that I needed to focus on to get back on track. Her enthusiasm to help me was contagious so I decided to sign up for her 9-week beginner triathlon program. I honestly cannot say enough good things about that whole exerience! Her careful attention to my individual needs kept me injury-free and gradually built back an exercise base. I felt totally prepared for my first triathlon, I had the joy of meeting & training with some incredible people that are now my friends, and I feel wonderfully healthy again! I am so glad that I met Vicky because learning from and training with her has changed my life (and my family's!) for the better. Vicky met me where I was and has provided consistent encouragement and step-by-step coaching that I needed first to get back in shape, and second to accomplish fitness goals that I never knew that I would aspire to again!" -- Stacy Zotter
I am a triathlete. I could have never said those words had it not been for Vicky Yeingst.
At the beginning of 2007, as much as I hate to say it...I could barely run for a minute or two. I had not been in shape for a very long time. I was out of college, newly married and very lazy.
I made a goal for the year to run a 5k race. Because of this goal, when signing up for some personal training sessions, I was paired up with Vicky. She and I had some awesome personal training sessions until I was convinced to train for a triathlon with her team. I was unsure, but she was a fantastic coach. She was always there to tell you how great you were doing, but gave you that push when you needed it. She was motivational and a complete inspiration.
I consider myself very lucky that Vicky has come into my life. She truly has changed the way I see myself. I am completely confident about me and my body for the first time in a very long time (possibly ever.) I lost 7% body fat over the course of my triathlon training, taking me to a “normal” range for the first time in years. She has brought out my determination and motivated me to do things I never thought were possible. I went from being the girl who couldn’t run a minute to the girl who is training to complete a half-marathon. I couldn’t have found a better way to get in shape, accomplish something great and make great new friends! --Darlene Nyce
Thanks, Vicky!”
Having known Vicky for many years I can honestly say she is extremely dedicated and passionate about what she does. She is genuinely committed to her students success. Her high energy personality and intense motivational style give her clients the confidence to do what they never dreamed possible. Before I began working with Vicky I had never completed any distance triathlon and now I am aiming toward my first half ironman next spring. She has opened my eyes to a new world of fitness
